deduction is the mental process of going along the valid connections in the MON and declaring the final step, or some of the root.

when a person observe a gap in the root that was taken through the MON, he may have to suggest a new MO or network of MOs that will bridge the gap, even though he had not observed them yet. these will be imagined mental objects
